Building bon fires!!

I guess I come from a line of people that can build a good fire.  I mean as I was growing up we nicknamed my Grandpa, fire bug.

See he had several hay fields & ever year he would light them on fire.  So I spent a lot of nights fighting fires.  When you have a fire on a hay field it just takes a small wind to come & get it out of control.  Of course there is a reason to set a hay field on fire.  It makes the hay grow better for the next year & burns up all the weeds & thorns you don’t want in the hay.

But I tell you want my Grandpa always seemed to be very happy when lighting these fires.  He would be almost singing & dancing while lighting them!  This always seemed weird to me, but if it made him happy then, You Go Grandpa!! 

Needless to say my mom is able to build a pretty good fire also.  Of course she isn’t one to set the fields on fire.  But she can make a good fire in the stove for heating the house.  She taught me how to build a fire also.  I don’t have wood heat to heat my house.  So the only time I get to use my fire starting skills is when we have a bon fire.

Building a bon fire is a art form & I am a artist at it.  Even if I don’t seem to have the best materials for starting a fire, I still seem to be able to get it going.  I’ve had friends & family make comments on how well I’m able to get a fire going.  I know you say well anyone can make a fire.  But you would be mistaken.  I’m talking about making a fire without using lighter fluid or gasoline.  I’m mean that’s just downright cheating!

To build a good nice hot bon fire you have to have the patience to build your foundation.  If you don’t get a good foundation for you fire going first, when you put the bigger wood on the fire it’s just going to go out.  Then you’re left in the cold.  You don’t want to be left in the cold do you?  I mean what fun is it to have hot dogs & marsh mellows to roast if you don’t have a fire to roast them on?

Are You Big Enough

So for the last few months I’ve been working online & have actually made money doing that.  That’s not what this blog is about.  But it’s what got me thinking about Are You Big Enough.  Now don’t go getting the wrong idea, I’m not talking about size of any kind before you go thinking I’m being insensitive. 



Some people think that apologizing is a sign of weakness.  But I believe you have to be pretty big to apologize, because it takes a lot of guts to admit when you’re wrong & to ask for forgiveness.  So Are You Big Enough?

I’m sitting here thinking about the times I’ve had to apologize.  I’ve of course over my life had to apologize to my mom, cousins, grandparents and husband.  The one I that I’m sure most people don’t do is to apologize to their children, but I do apologize to my son.  Yes you read that right, when I’ve done or said something to my son, I’m big enough to ask for his forgiveness. 

Several years ago my sister-in-law accused her son of doing something, I don’t remember what it was.  But he was only 5 or so & she didn’t believe that he was telling the truth that he didn’t do or say whatever it was.  A few days later she was telling me that she found out he was telling the truth.  I asked her, so did you apologize to him for calling him a liar?  She’s like of course not, I’m the parent & I don’t need to ask for his forgiveness.  I was thinking, you as the parent Are You Big Enough to admit that your wrong & should apologize.  So at that moment I told myself if I did something wrong to my son, no matter what it was that I would ask for his forgiveness. 

You know what to this day & he’s 13 now, I will still ask for his forgiveness when I get mad at him or anything else I might do on accident. He is still not interested in girls, but I hope that by my example when he does have children he will Be Big Enough to apologize to them also.

See if your still reading this Blog my original statement about Are You Big Enough was not what you thought it was going to be about.  So get your mind out of the gutter or racial slurs & truly think about what I’m saying.  Next time you think someone needs to apologize to you, realize that you Are You Big Enough to go first!

Making Money while struggling with Endometriosis

So back in February of 2000 I found out that I had Endometriosis.  For those of you who don’t know what that it.  It’s very painful.  The rest I will let you research & find out, just know that it’s not like any other pain.  I at one point in time had pain so bad that I was shaking from the pain.   Now not many people, that I know of have ever been to this stage of pain.  But it is a bad place to be at.  I don’t know if anyone saw the episode of Survivor where the guy was in so much pain that he was shaking & the medic’s said he had to go the hospital.  Well I know what that felt like, cause I had been there.  Of course his pain was not what mine is caused by.. lol… but still I know what it is to have so much pain that no matter how hard you try you can’t stop shaking.

So because of this pain that put’s a women down for a week out the month.  You can’t really work, what boss would give you a week off every month & more if you needed?  NONE that I know of.  That’s why I was go GLAD to find the company I work with now.  It’s a online company & I know what you’re saying.  I’ve tried so many online businesses & never made a dime from them.  Well let me tell you something, I was in that same boat.  But I have made money with this company that I now work for, I really do.

So if you’re having problems with Endo or any other health problem that won’t allow you to work a 9-5 job then you have come to the right place!! 

This is the best job I’ve ever found!!  I still have money coming in even when I fill like not working or I don’t do any work at all.  Now what boss would pay you even when you didn’t work that day?
